Regional and Global Updates: Kuwaiti Diplomacy, Palestinian Support, and Natural Disasters

After a dire bus crash in Algiers, Kuwait shared its sympathies and support with Algeria for the vehicle that fell into the Oued El Harrach riverbed, causing several deaths and injuries. Kuwait’s solidarity with the Algerian people was reiterated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As Air Vice Marshal Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Vice Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, convened with Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defense Force in Bahrain, the pair discussed mutual cooperation and reinforcing two-way defense partnerships.

Simultaneously, in Cairo, Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, the Prime Minister of Palestine, praised Egypt’s unshaken solidarity with the Palestinian cause, remarking that Cairo’s rigid foreign policy made a significant impact in halting the forcible removal of Palestinians from Palestine.

Indonesia, on the other hand, suffered an earthquake of 5.98-magnitude to the center of Sulawesi, with reports from the national disaster agency counting at least 29 injuries. Emergency response units have been mobilized to survey damage and offer medical help.
