Led by a stellar performance from Hussain Al-Ajmi, the Kuwaiti national shooting team secured a resounding victory at the 6th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Shooting Championship, held in Doha between June 21st and 26th. Al-Ajmi’s exceptional skill contributed significantly to the team’s overall championship title, further solidifying Kuwait’s dominance in the region.
The Secretary General of the Kuwaiti Shooting Club, Obaid Al-Osaimi, praised the team’s dedication and hard work, specifically highlighting Al-Ajmi’s crucial role in the victory. He emphasized the significance of this achievement in light of the club’s ongoing efforts to nurture young talent and prepare for the upcoming Arab Shooting Championship in 2025. Al-Osaimi further noted that youth participation comprised 60% of the team, with Al-Ajmi serving as an inspiring example for emerging athletes.
