The first group of Kuwaitis evacuated from Iran have arrived home safely via Turkmenistan early this morning. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed their arrival and stated that Deputy Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah welcomed the citizens. This evacuation is part of Kuwait’s ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of its citizens. The operation was a joint effort between Kuwaiti embassies and both the Kuwaiti and Turkmen governments. Kuwait will continue working to bring home all remaining Kuwaitis currently in Iran.
